Who We Are
We (Jaansi and Sunay) started this podcast over six years ago, back when we were 12 and 6. We were obsessed with medicine, science, and tech, but every time we went looking for more, most of the information we found online was written for adults who already had higher education in those topics. So, we decided to start LearnOn Podcast, a show that encourages your curiosity and explains these ideas in plain language, whether you’re brand new to a topic or just tired of the jargon. Every episode covers a new discovery, a question nobody’s really answered yet, or the people out there working on fresh solutions.

We’re on Season 7 now, The Power of Health Equity, and it’s asking a bigger question than we ever have before. Who actually benefits when medicine gets better? To figure that out, we’ve talked to Nobel Prize winners, Forbes 30 Under 30 founders, and researchers working across neuroscience, law, and journalism. Basically, we’re looking at how access to information and whose knowledge gets trusted can close health gaps or make them worse. Past seasons covered medical innovation, digital health, mindfulness, and how the mind and body actually connect.
