Our writing philosophy
LearnOn Podcast started when we were 12 years old and 6 years old, breaking down the research and ideas that we were curious about. As we started inviting guests and talking about pioneering moments in medical technology, the questions we asked naturally started entering complex territory. However, we always want to stay true to the original reason why we started this project: information around health equity and science shouldn’t be gatekept behind paywalls or elite institutions, and young people certainly shouldn’t be left out of the conversation. So, Sunay started a Substack newsletter writing companion pieces about these episodes, starting from Season 7. Each installation revisits the conversation and closes out with Sunay’s Insight, where he works through the takeaways and brings in fresh insights for the youth-centered perspective. If you’re interested in the bite-sized version of our conversations, want to engage with a simple explanation, or just prefer reading over listening, we highly encourage you to check these out.
